Academic Affairs

The Chelsea Campus provides both day and evening courses including General Education, Biology, Criminal Justice, Early Childhood Education, Business and a variety of Computer Information Technology and non-credit courses.  The Chelsea Campus also offers several campus-based certificate programs in Allied Health, and an Associate degree program in Paramedic Studies, as shown below, as well as Adult Education classes.  Beginning in the fall of 2018, the Chelsea Campus began offering Accelerated Certificate Programs in Accounting Information, Computer Support Specialist, Early Childhood Development, and PC Hardware Support. The Chelsea Campus also offers a variety of courses for the completion of the Liberal Arts major.

All of the Allied Health Programs, the Pharmacy Technician Certificate Program and the Paramedic Studies Certificate and Associate Degree Programs have mandatory information sessions along with other specific requirements for entrance.  Please see the BHCC College Catalog for course prerequisites.  Each of these programs is open-enrollment with the exception of Surgical Technology, which is a selective program.

Other healthcare programs offered at the Chelsea Campus include C.N.A. (Certified Nurse Assistant) and EMT (Emergency Medical Technician). These programs are each 7 credits and are offered as day or evening classes. Student can apply as a guest student
