BHCC’s Health and Wellness Center is a valuable resource for the entire campus. The LEED Gold-certified building houses the Athletics Department, Fitness Center, Gymnasium and locker rooms with showers, as well as a host of academic programs.
These facilities are open to faculty, staff and students. If you are trying to strengthen your muscles, improve your cardiac health, de-stress or lose weight, the BHCC Fitness Center is the place for you. Perhaps you want to play basketball with friends during Open Gymnasium or participate in a wellness workshop. The Health and Wellness Center has something for everyone.

If you’re thinking about visiting the Fitness Center but you’re unsure about how to use all of the different equipment, we’re here to help! Sign up for a free 30-minute Fitness Orientation with one of our Certified Personal Trainers. You’ll learn the basics of exercise (including warming up, cooling down, and stretching), general exercise guidelines, and proper use of exercise equipment.
The Health and Wellness Center offers a variety of program options for faculty, staff and students. Visit the Fitness and Wellness Programs page for an up-to-date list of group exercise classes and wellness workshops. Most classes run for 6-10 weeks and change each semester.
