Welcome Letter, Moodle Login Information, Dates and Deadlines, Expectations for Students

R‌eminder: Web Late Start (WBL) courses begin on Monday, September 14. Please contact the BHCConline Office during regular hours at 617.228.2466 if you need assistance.

Students who are new to web courses are strongly urged to participate in one or more of the following Orientation options. Although not mandatory, taking part in one of these Orientation options will help you gain a better grasp of the guidelines and expectations for being a successful web student at Bunker Hill Community College. You will also be given a demonstration on using Moodle, the College’s online Learning Management System (LMS). Select at least one:

  1. Participate in either of the live one-hour virtual computer-based orientations via WebEx from your home or work. (Note: these Orientations have already taken place).
  2. View the two segments of this pre-recorded Orientation at any time:
Part 1: General BHCC Web Course Information (11 minutes)
Part 2: Expectations, Login information, Getting Help (11 minutes)
(Both video segments also require that you view the three-part Moodle tutorial AND Welcome Letter, which can be found on the Moodle Home Page.)
  3. Join the one-week BHCConline Preparation Course, which takes place one week prior to the start of the semester. Here you can interact with a live Instructor to get the feel of using Moodle. (Note: the Orientation Course has already concluded for Fall).
