- Congratulations to Wevertton Souza, student in BHCC’s new Sustainability and Resource Conservation (ENV 511), who was recently
- accepted at Babson College with a full scholarship!

- Congratulations to Office of Sustainability intern Ken Yuen who was accepted into the engineering program at Northeastern University
- Brian Alves, co-president of the BHCC Sustainability Club, was one of only 11 students awarded internships by the U.S. Green Building Council.
- On November 3,4, 2011 BHCC hosted the country's first ACUPCC Regional Collaborative Symposium.
- The event was designed to promote climate action planning best practices at colleges and universities in the northeast region.
- BHCC was recognized for "Outstanding Climate Leadership" by Second Nature in a ceremony conducted in Washington, D.C.
- BHCC was heralded for projects that promote sustainability and reduce carbon emissions.
