BHCC Tutoring and Academic Support Center

Tutoring and Academic Support Center (TASC) strives to support and enhance student learning and academic success by offering a wide variety of traditional and nontraditional services.

Tutorial Assistance, Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)

The VA offers eligible students the opportunity to utilize tutorial assistance. For specific eligibility criteria please visit the VA website or you can call the Veterans Center to speak with our certifying staff for further guidance and assistance.

DOD MWR Tutoring Service (Active duty, National Guard & Reserve Students)

A free service offered through the DOD MWR for Active duty, National Guard and Reservists. Eligible students can receive help with "homework, studying, projects, papers," and "test prep." For more information please visit the following website.

Warrior-Scholar Project

The Warrior-Scholar Project is designed to help students strengthen their academic skills through intensive educational sessions. This program has limited space, and students are encouraged to apply well before the deadline, if interested.

Career Support

BHCC Learn and Earn

The Learn and Earn internship program prepares BHCC students for the workplace by providing the opportunity to work in a corporate setting at a major company. *Students must meet and maintain certain eligibility requirements.

BHCC Career Advising

BHCC Career Advising, located in LifeMap Commons, provides a wide range of career services to all currently enrolled students and alumni and provides a valuable link in the partnership between the College and the business community.

Transfer Assistance

BHCC Transfer Office

Located on the Charlestown campus, the Transfer Office can assist you in locating the best transfer opportunities based on your area of study.

Service 2 School

Service2School is an outside based non-profit organization established to help veteran-military engage the transfer process and locate college options.

Posse Foundation - Veterans Program 

The Posse Foundation Veterans program helps students identify different transfer opportunities at traditionally more selective colleges and universities.

V.E.T. Student Liaisons: Veterans Education Transition (VET) Liaisons are current Student-Veterans or eligible dependents that assist in monitoring our Veterans Center. They can assist with general questions relating to the college.
