DISH 2-year Anniversary Event

Friday, September 3 | 1 p.m.

This virtual program will give an overview of the past, present, and future of our food pantry and thank those who have supported us along the way. Speakers include Molly Hansen, M.Ed. (DISH Coordinator), Pam Eddinger, Ph.D. (College President), Julie Elkins, Ed.D. (Dean of Students, BHCC), Will Cribby, M.Ed. (Assistant Dean of Students, BHCC), and Ana Lindo (BHCC Student).

The DISH Food Pantry is open virtually (via phone and email) from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. For questions about utilizing the DISH Food Pantry or other food assistance resources in your community, please email dish@bhcc.edu or call 617-228-2045. If you are a current student and are looking to sign-up for the DISH Food Pantry, please fill our our Intake Form and you will receive a response within 1-2 business days.

The DISH Food Pantry will continue to offer free delivery and on-campus pick-ups during the Fall 2021 semester. Deliveries will run on a bimonthly basis and are limited to students/staff who live within a 10-mile radius of the BHCC Charlestown Campus.  Our Mission

The mission of the DISH Food Pantry is to Deliver Information, Sustenance, and Health to the Bunker Hill Community College campus community. The DISH aims to empower those in need to obtain resources so that they may focus on being healthy, happy, and successful at Bunker Hill Community College without the barrier of fighting hunger. The DISH is a student-driven and supported resource that is committed to being a safe, dignified, and stigma-free environment.

The DISH aspires to alleviate the barriers associated with food insecurity to support student success at Bunker Hill Community College and to ensure that no one goes hungry because of a lack of income or access to food.

The DISH Food Pantry serves current students, faculty, and staff at Bunker Hill Community College. In order to access the DISH, you must first register.
