Virtual college visits are virtual events that allow Bunker Hill students to meet with transfer admission representatives from bachelor degree granting institutions. During these one hour sessions, students learn about each institution's academic programs, student engagement opportunities, and the process for applying and transferring to these institutions. Students also have the opportunity to ask their own questions.

Steps to Success Workshops Fall 2022
This workshop will focus on using the BHCCselfservice tool for educational planning purposes. Students will learn how to navigate their Student Planning tab to understand program requirements, find their advisor assignment, and plan and register for courses. Students will learn some tips and tricks for using the Course Catalog to search for course terms, sections and formats.
Join poet and translator Mira Rosenthal and painter Gillian Frazier for a discussion of art that metabolizes the patterns of abuse we inflict on one another and our environment. Mira's new collection of poems, TERRITORIAL will be available for purchase.
The event will be in-person at the college in the A300 Lobby outside the Mary L. Fifield Art Gallery, located in the A Building, 3rd Floor

Difficult conversation with Dr. Angela Miller -Why International Education Matters?

Dr. Angela Miller will address what global learning is and how it is essential to higher education. Dr. Miller considers what global learning provides for teaching, learning, and internationalization in higher education. Dr. Miller will discuss how the global nature of knowledge and learning in the 21st century requires a re-definition of classrooms and learning environments that recognizes how knowledge production today is a collective, global, and diverse process. She will conclude by revealing how a global learning framework has benefits beyond teaching and learning and how it can contribute to the deliberate internationalization of higher education.

Students should complete Career Exploration 101 before attending this workshop. This workshop will focus on how to use the results of the Career Coach assessment to explore possible programs of study at BHCC that match their career interests. Students will learn about MassHire CIS to learn more about specific careers.
The International Center serves as a "home away from home" for hundreds of international students. Learn the wide range of services the International Center staff provide to prospective and current international students and how they promote international education.
