Are you getting close to graduating? This workshop will focus on the final two stages of transferring: Applying and Deciding. Topics that will be covered include: applying to four-year colleges and making informed decisions on which colleges to attend, requesting letters of recommendations, writing your transfer essays, and using the Common Application.

We'll answer frequently asked questions about Academic Internships and the Learn and Earn Internship program. If you are considering an internship this year, this is a great workshop to attend! Admissions information session with the Tufts University REAL Program.

The REAL Program provides a full-time Tufts undergraduate education for adults seeking a Bachelor's degree. The program is intended for students who are 24 years of age or older, parents, married, veterans, or currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.

Tufts is committed to meeting 100% of the demonstrated financial need for all students, including those who are undocumented or have DACA status.

Internships and Career Development, with employer partner Haley & Aldrich, will host several Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) employers on campus for a poster session. Students are encouraged to connect with employers to learn about their role in the AEC industry and ask questions about careers in the field.

Employers will be located in the Student Central Lobby (B Lobby) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Food will be provided while supplies last. 

TOEFL study group meetings

Meet with the Internships and Career Development team to learn how to update your LinkedIn profile and tips and tricks on using the platform to connect with employers and internship/job opportunities. Admissions information session with the School of General Studies of Columbia University.

The School of General Studies of Columbia University is a liberal arts college in created specifically for returning and nontraditional students seeking a rigorous, traditional, Ivy League undergraduate degree full or part time.

The typical/average annual scholarship to Columbia GS is $25,000 (this is around the amount a student can expect), and some receive scholarships higher than this, up to $35,000 a year

This final event during Selective College Week offers an opportunity for reflection on what you have learned. If you attended the events throughout the week, you probably have questions or have gained valuable new information. How can you enhance your competitiveness and improve your chances of acceptance? Are these the types of colleges you wish to pursue? What other steps can you take now? Join a transfer advisor and your peers for an informal debrief session to discuss your insights from college visits and events, and to begin outlining action steps to enhance your competitiveness for selective colleges.
