Are you a BHCC student? Do you have questions on uploading assignments on Moodle? Do you need help with creating word documents or PowerPoint slides? Well we, the Digital Student Liaisons, have created a workshop presented by students for students! This workshop will cover basic computer skills that a student will need to succeed in their courses. The workshop will be offered both virtually and on campus.
The deadline to register is on March 6, 2022.
Steps to Success Workshops
This workshop will focus on learning to use the MyBHCC selfservice tool for educational planning for upcoming semesters. Students will learn how to read their My Progress tab and plan courses for future semesters and to degree completion.

Steps to Success Workshops
(Recommended for students with 30-60 credits) Are you getting close to graduating? This workshop will focus on the final two stages of transferring: Applying and Deciding. Recommended for students who have attended Transfer 101 Workshop. Topics that will be covered include: applying to four-year colleges and making informed decisions on which colleges to attend, requesting letters of recommendations, writing your transfer essays, and using the Common Application.

English language learners, please join Language Lab ELL/English tutor Joshua Heerter for our weekly conversation groups. We focus on pronunciation, grammar, and usual American ways of speaking. We plan to talk about important topics for BHCC students, including: registration, financial aid, career planning, on-campus jobs, communicating with professors, strategies for language learners in class, and much more! The groups are free to join, there is no registration required, and all may join for as long or as little as they wish.

Virtual college visits are virtual events that allow Bunker Hill students to meet with transfer admission representatives from bachelor degree granting institutions. During these one hour sessions, students learn about each institution's academic programs, student engagement opportunities, and the process for applying and transferring to these institutions. Students also have the opportunity to ask their own questions.

Steps to Success Workshops
This workshop is designed for students interested in the Registered Nurse and Medical Imaging programs. Academic requirements, including prerequisites and co-requisites needed to apply to the program, will be discussed. There will also be a focus on course planning and discussion of additional admissions requirements to apply to the programs. This session does not satisfy the Information Session requirement.
