Stand with Haiti

Category>Events

In light of recent events, we as a community want to take a moment to address and condemn the harmful and false statements that have been made regarding Haitian immigrants. These baseless claims, about Haitian immigrants have caused unnecessary fear and led to threats against a vulnerable community.

We stand in full solidarity with our Haitian students, staff, faculty, their families, and all those affected by these irresponsible and hurtful accusations. At Bunker Hill Community College, we are deeply committed to fostering an environment where every member of our community feels safe, respected, and supported.

This is a moment that calls on each of us to offer compassion and unity. To that end, we invite you to join us on Thursday, October 10 at 1:00 PM via WebEx https://bhcc.webex.com/bhcc/j.php?MTID=m959f2c6c4bc50a6408c9c7758ff8f132  for a community gathering. This will be an opportunity to come together, share support, and express our collective condemnation of these harmful remarks.
