Hispanic Heritage Month - Engage! Poets in the Family Mansion: Celebrating Latinx Writers and Creating a Sense of Home
Thursday, October 13, 2022
at 6 p.m.
Engage with renowned poet, translator, and BHCC 2019-2020 Distinguished Art Scholar in Residence Rhina P. Espaillat as she welcomes and convenes a chosen 'family' of Spanish language writers into her home for celebration, conversation, food, music, poetry, and other arts. Witness the connections, both familiar and new, these writers experience by sharing their work together in the environment of Rhina's family home and creating an intentional sense of belonging and collective healing in the arts.
Connect. Commune. Celebrate.
