The ATI TEAS Exam

The ATI TEAS, or Test of Essential Academic Skills, is designed specifically to assess a student's preparedness entering the health science fields. The ATI TEAS is a required part of the application to Health Sciences programs, including the Nursing program at Bunker Hill. For more information, please visit Bunker Hill’s Nursing program.

Bunker Hill’s TEAS sessions are open to both BHCC students and non-students.

The exam is given at BHCC in February and October.

The TEAS exam fee for BHCC sessions is $89.

Registration must be done online through the test company, ATI.

The ATI TEAS test is comprised of 170 questions set up in a multiple-choice format with four-option answers. Questions are designed to test the basic academic skills you will need to perform in class in the areas of: Reading, Math, Science, and English and Language Usage.

BHCC offers TEAS prep courses through the Community Education Department.

 Test Takers With Accommodations

Testing accommodations such as extended time are available for those with documented disabilities. Accommodations must be arranged in advance. Please contact the BHCC Assessment Center before making your TEAS appointment if you will need accommodations. Alternate schedules may be required depending upon your accommodations.
