Our division specializes in providing comprehensive education in various healthcare programs. Our programs include Allied Health, Emergency Studies, Medical Imaging, Nurse Education, Pharmacy Technology, and Surgical Technology. We are dedicated to helping our students acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their careers. Our healthcare programs are accredited, ensuring that our students receive high-quality education that meets professional standards.

Our Health Science programs prepare students for fulfilling careers in the healthcare field. Our faculty members have advanced degrees, extensive clinical experience, and the necessary credentials to practice in their respective fields.  They are passionate about providing the best possible education to our students.

In addition, our Health Science programs offer students the opportunity to transfer to universities and colleges to further advance their healthcare expertise.

The Division of Health Sciences prepares students for employment as well as transfer to four-year colleges and universities. The division offers a broad array of courses geared to in-demand health careers. Faculty members hold advanced degrees and/or extensive credentials in their fields.

The Medical Radiography Program is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiological Technology, 20 N. Wacker Drive, Suite 2850, Chicago, IL  60606-3182, Phone: 312-704-5300; Fax: 312-704-5304; ( ).

The Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs ( upon the recommendation of The Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. The Department of Allied Health offers certificate programs preparing students to become Medical Assistants, Medical Interpreters and Patient Care Technicians. Courses are also available to train students to become Certified Nurse Assistants (C.N.A.s)/Home Health Aides as well as Emergency Medical Technicians (E.M.T.s). The also offers certificate programs that prepare students to become registered Central Processing Technicians and registered Surgical Technicians.

The Paramedic Studies Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (, 9355 - 113th St. N, #7709, Seminole, FL 33775, 727-210-2350. The program is a 15 month certificate program is designed for certified Emergency Medical Technicians desiring to advance their level of certification and training. The program follows the National Standard EMT-Paremedic Curriculum meeting and/or exceeding the requirements set forth by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Office of Emergency Medical Services and the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Profession preparing students to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians written and practical exam. Following completion of the certificate program, students can complete general education requirements to receive an Associate in Paramedics Studies.
