Workshops/Training

Our workshop/training model is one that encourages individual, one to one training for faculty interested in using instructional technology to enhance teaching and learning in their courses at Bunker Hill Community College. Although this may not be the most productive approach from the standpoint of training a group of people at the same time, we have found that individual, one on one sessions result in a more tailored learning experience and produces better results for retention and long term adoption.

Thus, if you are interested in learning more about Moodle, our Learning Management System; Electronic Portfolios for yourself or for student integration in your course; Turning Technologies Student Response Systems (clickers) for anonymous polling and student driven data collection; WebEx Meeting Manager for conducting live, collaborative meetings, training sessions or online office hours; Camtasia Relay, our campus-based lecture recording infrastructure for recording classroom lectures or laboratory segments for your class; or other instructional technology resources, please contact us at tlitc@bhcc.mass.edu and request a time so that we can schedule a meeting time with you.
