A library liaison is a librarian who has been formally designated as the primary contact person between the Library and assigned academic departments at Bunker Hill Community College’s Library and Learning Commons.
This person serves as a contact for assistance with, or information about, any library resource or service. In other words, the liaison fosters two-way communication between the library and the College.
Collection development is the process of adding and removing resources to and from the BHCC Library's collection. Librarians are continuously selecting books, DVDs, databases, and other resources to augment or replace old, outdated, damaged, or irrelevant items.
BHCC librarians actively solicit feedback in the collection development process. Each academic area has a subject specialist/department liaison, who is your primary contact person. Our librarians and their subject areas are:
