For more than 30 years, Bunker Hill CommunityCollege has provided local employers with talented, motivated and well-trained interns. In every field - from accounting and nursing to criminal justice and information technology - Bunker Hill Community College has placed thousands of students in hundreds of companies across the Commonwealth.
With more than 11,000 students and 65 areas of study, BHCC has the right intern for your company’s needs. We are committed to partnering with area businesses and institutions to enable students the opportunity, through academic and/or career development internships, to enhance their learning experience while offering a valuable resource to the local workforce.
Bunker Hill Community College offers two types of internships:
Academic Program Internships count toward a degree or certificate. An academic internship must meet specific academic learning objectives.
Career Development Internships are field placements that enhance career learning and development. This type of placement is more flexible and can be customized to meet employer needs.

About BHCC Students
Bunker Hill Community College is the largest community college in Massachusetts. The College enrolls more than 11,000 students on two campuses and at five satellite locations each semester. In addition, more than 1,700 students take classes online. BHCC is one of the most diverse institutions of higher education in the Commonwealth. Six in ten students are people of color and more than half of BHCC’s students are women. The College also enrolls more than 600 international students who come from more than 95 countries and speak more than 75 different languages.
