Dear Colleagues:
Some of you have questions with regard to the on line final exam for MAT 090 (Fundamentals of Math).
In light of that, I am amending the phrase, “it is mandatory” to “it is highly recommended”.
Starting in spring 2008 semester, it is highly recommended that all instructors (Full time as well as Adjunct Faculty) administer the on line final exam for MAT 090.
If you need assistance and training, the Department would be very happy to accommodate such needs.
Please modify your course policy accordingly. Please note that we are trying very hard to obtain consistency in student learning outcomes and hence one of the most important benchmarks is a uniform final exam.
