ESL086: ACADEMIC NOTE-TAKING II
(English as a Second Language)
Credits: 3
This high-intermediate course focuses on listening and note-taking skills. Students continue to develop a system for note-taking and learn how to use their notes to answer comprehension questions. All listening and note-taking activities include reading and writing exercises. Students learn grammar in the context of the materials used for listening activities and student generated writing. Students must complete the course with a grade of C or better in order to take other ESL courses.
Prerequisite: Grade of C or better in all ESL level I courses or ESL placement test.
