ESL078: ACADEMIC READING I
(English as a Second Language)

Credits: 3

This low-intermediate course focuses on reading skills and vocabulary development. Students demonstrate an understanding of reading materials with comprehension questions and writing assignments. Students learn grammar in the context of the reading materials and student generated writing. Students must complete the course with a grade of C or better in order to take other ESL courses.

Prerequisite: ESL placement test.
