The Division of Mathematics, Behavioral and Social Sciences offers a broad array of general education courses, liberal arts courses, and four Associate of Arts (AA) degree programs in Sociology, Psychology, Mathematics, and History and Government. The Division also offers a World Studies Emphasis Certificate.
Associate of Arts graduates are able to enter the job market or transfer to a four-year college or university. Several of these degree programs have articulation agreements with public and private universities, such as Boston University, UMass Boston, and Regis College. Through the Joint Admissions Program, students who graduate from approved degree programs like ours, with a cumulative grade point average of 2.50 or higher, are guaranteed admission as juniors to a participating UMass campus or other Massachusetts state colleges.
The Division is also home to the International Center.

Division of Professional Studies
The Division of Professional Studies is composed primarily of programs traditionally viewed as career-related, with the exception of the health fields. These are ideal for those students who wish to either transfer to four-year colleges or universities or immediately enter the workforce. Faculty members have significant practical experience in these varied fields and curriculum is continually evaluated to ensure currency with business, technology, and practices in the real world.
