Soledad O’Brien’s career has been marked by transformative stories such as “Black in America,” a documentary on the state of Black America 40 years after the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Her journalism has helped CNN earn
numerous awards, including a George Foster Peabody award for its Katrina coverage. O’Brien has been named several times to Irish America magazine’s list of “Top 100 Irish Americans.”
While the Compelling Conversations Speaker Series is free and open to the public, seating is limited, so reservations are recommended.
