Joint Admissions Program

For students who enrolled in a degree program at Bunker Hill Community College prior to fall 2009, you are covered under Joint Admissions, Commonwealth Transfer Compact and Tuition Advantage Program.

In order to take advantage of Joint Admissions, Commonwealth Transfer Compact and Tuition Advantage Program, eligible students:

• MUST complete their associates degrees by August 2013
• MUST matriculate at a Massachusetts State College or UMASS Campus by Fall 2014.

BHCC participates in the Joint Admissions Programs of the Massachusetts community colleges with the four campuses of the University of Massachusetts and the nine Massachusetts state colleges. These programs guarantee students admission to a state college or university of their choice provided students meet specific requirements.

It is recommended that students meet with a transfer counselor during their first semester at BHCC. In addition to guaranteed admission, students participating in the Joint Admissions Program receive a number of benefits such as specialized academic advising to help with the transition to the four-year institution, a short application form with no fee and eligibility for the Tuition Advantage Program**.
