P/T (Adjunct) Clinical Faculty: Pediatric, Psychiatrics, Maternity & Medical/Surgical Nursing - Day & Evening Program - SPRING & FALL 2009

Location: Charlestown
Reports To: Dean of Nurse Education & Health Professions
Responsibilities::
- Teach nursing fundamentals and the nursing process at the Associate Degree level including physical health assessments, critical thinking, pharmacology, therapeutic communications and clinical skills.
- Evaluate student performance in the classroom and clinical setting.
Requirements:
REQUIRED:
- BSN and a minimum of five years of recent clinical experience required; Master’s degree in nursing preferred
- Current licensure or eligibility as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts
- Proven ability to work effectively with a diverse faculty, staff and student population
- Community college teaching experience preferred
Hourly Rate: $56.65 per clinical hour
