Reports To: Director of Community Education
Responsibilities:: Provide administrative and clerical support to the Director of Community Education. Assist in the daily activities of the office including registering students/clients for non credit courses, processing student/clients payments, arranging and maintaining daily non-credit enrollment numbers and cancellation process, assembling courses for the master schedule, preparing adjunct and client contracts, providing clerical support to adjunct faculty. Set-up non-credit courses with external systems, develop and support on-line marketing and tracking systems. Compose memoranda, correspondence and reports. Edit and proofread documents. Assist with inquires from faculty, staff, students, clients and the public.
Requirements: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Three years of full-time office experience and demonstrated strong keyboarding, word processing and database skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in composing documents such as memoranda, reports, correspondence, minutes and emails.
• Thorough knowledge of office practices and procedures.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to prioritize multiple projects and work independently and at a high level of productivity with minimal supervision.
• Strong proofreading and editing experience.
• Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff and student population.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
