The TRIO grant-funded Student Success Program identifies the academic needs for learners with potential who are academically under-prepared, economically disadvantaged, first generation in college and/or individuals with a disability. Our goal is to provide a strong and supportive environment based on best practices to support retention, academic success, graduation and transfer to a baccalaureate college/university. Drawing on the learning community model, the Success Program engages a connected learning experience through linked, cluster and coordinated courses that include the strategies for college success seminar.
The comprehensive services include tutoring, mentoring, transfer counseling, academic counseling and a variety of unique programs and workshops. The services provided by the Success Program offer learners every opportunity needed to increase the likelihood of successful academic achievement while attending Bunker Hill Community College and beyond.
