Special Activities
The following are ongoing and special activities in which Metro Boston CVTE (Tech Prep) students are involved:
- Ongoing pre-college placement testing on the Accuplacer for Metro Boston high school juniors and seniors.
- BHCC Common Interest Community “Continuing the Climb: Part II of Your CVTE Experience” for BHCC CVTE students
- Tuesday, April 6th – 1:00 p.m., Room B108, Speaker, Stephen King, an Independent Consultant with Multicultural Engineering Education Systems, and retired Raytheon Corporation engineer
- Tuesday, April 13th – Field Trip to UMass Boston
- April 6, 2010 – Rindge School of Technical Arts Students to Newbury College Culinary Students Leadership Program
- April 7, 2010 – Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology, Gender Equity Conference (Madison Park Technical Vocational students and others).
- April 9, 2010 – BATEC High Tech Regional College Fair, Reggie Lewis Center (Many member schools are participating). www.batec.org/news.php
