Program Overview

Medical Assistant Certificate Program
This program prepares students to function as members of a health care delivery team and to perform administrative
and clinical duties. The program prepares students in Healthcare Provider CPR, EKG, and phlebotomy.

Patient Care Technician Certificate Program
This program prepares students to deliver direct patient care through classroom teaching, lab practice, and actual clinical experience in hospitals and long-term care facilities. The program prepares students for a variety of entry-level positions in health care, at the same time allowing them to take prerequisite courses for the Nursing, Medical Imaging, Surgical Technology, or other related programs.

Phlebotomy Technician Certificate Program
This program prepares students to perform blood collection by venipuncture and introduces them to basic laboratory techniques. The program also prepares students in the use of EKG.
