Bulldog Baseball
DAWG'S BASEBALL SEASON OUTLOOK:
The Bunker Hill Community College Baseball Program is entering a new era. Struggles in recent years have called for a change in the coaching staff at BHCC and the new staff is a top notch upgrade. Kerry Quinlan, previously the head coach at Northern Essex Community College and his assistants Raymond McDonald and Joe Bateman will retool the program starting this September. The new coaching staff brings with it a history of winning baseball as they have four MCCAC State Championships, one NJCAA Region 21 Championship and an appearance in the NJCAA Junior College World Series over the past seven years. New additions to the program will include a full 2008 fall baseball schedule where the BHCC Bulldogs will play against quality NCAA teams to prepare for the 2009 spring campaign. Also the Bulldog’s will play a spring training schedule in South Carolina at the Ripken Experience prior to the kickoff of the 2009 home schedule. Expectations are high and the Bulldog’s are asking everyone to check the schedule of games on the baseball website and make every effort to get out and watch Bulldog Baseball!!
2008-2009 Bulldog Baseball tryouts will be held Saturday, August 23, 2008 at the BHCC Charlestown campus at 10:00 AM.
