Biography and education
I was raised in Montreal, Quebec where I attended both French and English schools before entering Brandeis University in Boston and earning a BA in History and Soviet Studies. After working at McGill University in the political science department, I attended the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, and earned an MALD in international law and business.
I then worked as a management consultant (Peter Merrill Associates); a marketing manager (Mass-Save); and started and ran a manufacturing business (The Great Kid Co.) and a small publishing house (Lansdowne Press). This led to a stint in the computer gaming world (VP Marketing at Impressions Software); and telecommunications (VP Marketing MediaCom).
In 2005 I jumped at the opportunity to teach here at Bunker Hill (English, American Culture) and it has been a great pleasure to work with such a variety of students from all walks of life and from all parts of the world. Travel is a great passion of mine, and at last count, I have visited over 40 countries. When not on the road visiting my sons who live overseas, I reside in the Boston area with my husband who teaches at Brandeis University.
