This class will introduce the beginning tennis player to the fundamentals of the game. This class will cover tennis basics, forehand and backhand strokes, stance and serve and effective net techniques. Please bring your own tennis racquet; some spare racquets will also be available. Tennis balls will be provided. Class is limited to 16 students.
This is a 15-hour course—5 hours of classroom study and 10 hours of riding—designed to teach the sport of motorcycling. Classroom sessions will cover motorcycle controls, basic riding skills, street strategies and turning and braking techniques. Riding sessions will cover straight-line riding, turning, shifting and stopping as well as crash avoidance maneuvers. Training motorcycle—250cc or less—helmets and course books are provided with tuition. Participants must have motorcycle learner’s permit. Classes are on weekends from April to October.
