Advising

Working, attending school and meeting your personal family needs and commitments is a recipe for a tough juggling act.  Time and time again, we hear inspiring stories of how students overcame challenges to accomplish their goals.  We applaud your efforts in making a commitment to attaining your Associate in Science degree in ECE.  We recognize the sacrifices you make to turn your dream into a reality.

That’s why it is important for you to make an appointment to speak with an Early Childhood Education advisor at BHCC.  An advisor is an invaluable resource to help you map out a plan to complete your education at BHCC, to transfer to a four year school, or provide insight to the career options available to you in early childhood development field.  They will be there to provide direction and guidance throughout your college experience at BHCC.

You can to meet with either Dr. Judy Lindamood, chair of the Early Childhood Education and Human Services department or Rita Rzezuski, ECE professor and advisor.  They are ready to assist you with your academic and career questions.
To help you get the most out of your advising session, please contact the all the colleges you have attended and request that your official transcripts be sent to your home address.  When you receive your transcripts, DO NOT open them.  Bring the official transcripts to your advising session in their sealed envelopes.
