Leed Logo Our Health & Wellness center was recently awarded LEED Gold certification. This is the only building in the entire Commonwealth of Massachusetts system that has earned this level of certification under the new, more stringent Version 2.2 guidelines established by the United States Green Building Council.

Hello, my name is Paul Wolff and I am the Director of Sustainability at Bunker Hill Community College. I am also one of the Implementation Liaisons for the American College and University Presidents' Climate Commitment (ACUPCC) I would like to invite you to check out the various resources that we have assembled on this site. My ambition is to create an interactive platform for discussion among colleges in the northeast region striving for climate neutrality.

Whether you are from a MA based school or from other colleges located throughout the northeast region, I encourage you to contact me at the Climate Forum with questions specific to climate action planning and sustainability. I am happy to share previous experiences and to direct you to a myriad of resources related to this process that now involves over 700 colleges nationwide.

Internal tool used to quantify the environmental benefits of recycled paper. It measures equivalents in terms of saved trees, saved energy, greenhouse gases, wastewater and solid waste.

Resource Tool developed to assist schools of higher education with the climate action planning process.
Greenhouse Gas Narrative
The greenhouse gas inventory continues to provide the college a benchmarked baseline for which to better comprehend the scale of campus emissions.
