Board of Trustees 
 
BHCC will strengthen its identity and presence locally, statewide and beyond.

Earned a regional first-place award for the MBTA poster campaign, a regional first-place award for the new Facilities Rental marketing brochure, and a regional second-place award for the new Viewbook - all from the National Council for Marketing & Public Relations (NCMPR).

Became the first community college in Massachusetts to conduct a brandawareness campaign, promoting Workforce Development services through advertisements on New England Cable News, in the Boston Metro newspaper, and on the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce website.

Enrolled more new international students than any other community college in the State. The International Center welcomed the largest number of students from other countries to enroll at one time since 1999, bringing the total number of countries represented at BHCC to 92.

Achieved national recognition with the 2003 Charles Kennedy Equity Award, awarded to only one community college nationwide, for an exemplary commitment to serving and educating students of color and women.

Strengthened BHCC leadership
through the Chair of the BHCC Board of Trustees, who serves on the Board of Directors for the Association of Community College Trustees and the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education, and was elected President of the Massachusetts Community College Association.
