BHCC will seek new resources and explore additional collaborations to support student learning, programs and facilities.

Increased revenues from facilities rentals by 24 percent, through repeat customer contracts, a dedicated Facilities Rental page on the College website, and the distribution of an award winning promotional brochure.

Received more than $2 million in grants, including:
  • Three multi-year grants totaling close to $1.5 million, from the National Science Foundation, the Boston Foundation, and CampusEAI/Oracle Corporation, to support cutting-edge technology initiatives that will benefit students, faculty, and staff.
  • More than $550,000 from the Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education, for the establishment of BHCC’s Villa Victoria satellite campus. This competitive federal funding program screened more than 1,550 proposals, funded 45 of the 157 finalists, and awarded only one grant — to BHCC — for the use of technology in education.
Installed a new computer-operated cooling tower and chiller , designed to increase efficiency and lead to an unprecedented savings of close to $180,000 in energy costs for the year.
