 Bunker Hill Community College will provide students with innovative leadership experiences and support services necessary to achieve academic success and realize personal goals.
- The College will be certified by the Board of Higher Education as a Commonwealth Honors Program thereby enabling Bunker Hill Community College honors students to transfer automatically to Honors Programs at state colleges and at the University of Massachusetts.
- The College will play a leadership role as a member of the Boston Higher Education Partnership. Ongoing collaborations and programs with 12 Boston Public High Schools, to support academic achievement and college preparedness will be intensified and expanded with more activities such as professional development for teachers, student mentoring and college awareness programs.
- Diversity will be promoted through College-wide programs as well as through student, faculty and staff recruitment in order to enrich the learning environment and prepare students to be successful in todayÍs workforce.
- Planning will continue for a new College Technology/Health/ Physical
Fitness Center and a new art gallery will be established
on the Charlestown Campus.
- As a charter member of the National Articulation Transfer Network, the College will work in partnership with Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Hispanic-Serving Institutions to increase the transfer rate by students of color to senior institutions.
