BHCC will seek new resources and explore additional collaborations to support student learning, programs and facilities.
- The rental of College facilities will generate a 30 percent increase in rental revenue as a result of intensified marketing to include the development of a comprehensive brochure and a dedicated page on the College website.
- The Grants Development Office, working with three faculty and staff task forces, will compete for three major federal grants targeted to promote diversity in the nursing profession; to support access and retention of developmental students; to promote allied health careers to high school students and to explore the creation of a pre-engineering program at the College.
- The College will maximize financial resources by installing cost-effective systems such as a new computer-operated, high-efficiency cooling tower and chiller, and the replacement of corridor lighting with energy-efficient parabolic fluorescent lights.
- Scholarships will be awarded to 27 students for study abroad opportunities in 15 countries and faculty will receive scholarships to participate in international professional development seminars.
