BHCC will offer student-friendly services that are responsive, efficient, accessible and convenient.
- To maximize affordability and accessibility for students, BHCC tuition and fees will remain among the lowest of all community colleges in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- College partnerships with immigrant serving organizations will be increased from 11 to 13. The CollegeÍs immigrant initiative will feature a program of immigrant awareness College seminars and College orientations for new immigrant students.
- The institutionÍs ñeCollegeî web-based courses will increase from 104 to 137 and a minimum of five courses will be offered each semester through the Massachusetts Colleges Online network, a consortium consisting of the 24 Massachusetts public higher education institutions.
- In partnership with Villa Victoria, the low-income housing community in BostonÍs South End, the College will provide convenient, on-site skills assessment and access to college courses.
- The College Career Center will be expanded to increase internships and community service opportunities that are directly linked to academic degree and certificate programs.
