Bunker Hill Community College will respond flexibly to the changing educational needs of students, staff, and external communities.

We are dedicated to change as a major cultural trait. In transforming the institution, we will:

  • increase the number of courses and programs in distance education;
  • revamp weekend and evening courses to create six degree programs;
  • expand the Honors Program and revise developmental courses to meet new student needs;
  • strengthen faculty and staff professional development and begin a support program for adjunct faculty;
  • design an enrollment forecasting system to anticipate changing trends and permit a rapid response to emerging educational needs; and
  • develop a college-wide assessment plan for all operations.
